ABOUT THE HONORS AWARDS
The Honors Awards is the annual red-carpet ceremony produced by the 18th & Vine Arts Festival Foundation.
This is not about popularity.
It is about legacy.
Each year, we recognize living artists, cultural leaders, and creative institutions whose work has shaped Kansas City’s artistic landscape — across music, theatre, dance, poetry, film, visual art, and community storytelling.
Every honoree receives:
✔ A curated cinematic tribute
✔ A live artistic performance in their honor
✔ An official City Proclamation
✔ A public moment of recognition in the historic 18th & Vine Jazz District
